The Youth Red Cross (YRC), under the Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch, is dedicated to nurturing humanitarian values, social responsibility, leadership and a spirit of voluntary service among students of colleges and universities across Haryana.
Through its network of institutional units, YRC actively engages young volunteers in blood donation awareness and camps, first aid and disaster management training, health and hygiene campaigns, environmental conservation, road safety, mental health awareness, and community welfare initiatives.
The programme encourages youth participation through training camps, workshops, awareness drives, competitions and outreach activities, fostering teamwork, compassion and civic responsibility.
Guided by the seven Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross Movement, YRC empowers students to become responsible citizens and compassionate leaders. By connecting education with meaningful community service, the Youth Red Cross strives to develop a generation of socially conscious individuals committed to humanity, peace, inclusivity and sustainable community development.
